My Debut Party

Hey guys, so I have some very exciting news, this Friday December 7th, 2012 I will be having my debut party. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I am excited because this is the grand opening of my business. It's the day I get to share with everyone what it is that I am doing and I get to share with them some of the products that we sell in Mary Kay. I am also excited, because I am hoping to maybe get some booking from it, and well I am just excited to have a good time with my director and everyone that I invited. What I am most nervous about is not having anyone come. I know that I should expect half or less of all the people that I invite to come. So I hope that at least half of the people who I invited come, so I am not at the party by myself lol. I am going to take a lot of pictures and post them on my blog  its gonna be super fun and I just cannot wait. Down below I put a picture of the invitations I made, they are simple but very cute!

I got the actual invitation online, and then I just printed out a bunch and glued them to color construction paper. I did invitations of every color I really liked them. It was perfect too because this Saturday was my grandma's birthday. We all went out to celebrate so everyone was together, and I was able to hand out all my colorful invitations.

Hey guys, so on Saturday I received my first applause magazine. I was so excited when I saw it in my mailbox. I couldn't believe that I was finally getting my applause magazine. I had been waiting for it basically since I started my Mary Kay business. Right away when I got it I started to read it and its so informative, it comes with a lot of great tips and tricks for all consultants. Plus you get to read the stories of all these amazing woman who have succeed in the business. These stories are so inspirational, they really make you want to keep working hard and do your best in everything when it comes to Mary Kay. It has made me realize that Mary Kay is worth the work, its worth putting yourself out there. I really love this job and I am enjoying every step of it. Especially now that I watched Ashleythemkbeuty new videos. I realize that I want to enjoy this. With its ups and down, its a ride that I want to take a full advantage of. Ashley talked about how, she wanted to enjoy doing Mary Kay and not just rushed through things. I think that's the best way to do things because, if you just rush into things then you wont have any memories to look at. But everyone does things as they want to. I now realize that I want to take things slow but without loosing focus. I want to be prepared and learn how everything works. This is a great business, but it is also a lot of work, and if you want to get anywhere you have to be willing to put in the work. If you ever feel like you dont want to do Mary Kay or your disappointed because its not going how you wanted it to go. Looking at the applause magazine and going to your group meetings, it will get you all the inspiration and motivation that you need. That is why I love going to my meetings, and watching Ashleythemkbeuty videos and now reading my applause magazine. It all gives me the motivation and inspiration that I need to go on with my goals and dreams. You also have to make sure to always talk to your director because they have so much experience. So they will know what you can do to improve your business or to do better in anything that you are needing help in.
